Nissan Sentra - A bold, New Direction
If you’re in the market for a sedan in Louisiana, it doesn’t get any better than the 2021 Nissan Sentra. With three different trims to choose from and a wide range of both standard and optional features, the Sentra is in a league of its own this year. Here at Royal Automotive, we understand the demand for this vehicle, which is why we make sure to keep our inventory in Baton Rouge, LA updated regularly. While previous versions of the Sentra were appealing in their own right, here are a few reasons why we feel this is the best year yet for the Nissan Sentra.

Exterior
The new Sentra is a unique-looking sedan with edgy contoured lines that lend to its sleek and sporty look. Even while it's at a complete standstill and parked, it looks fast. A rear spoiler is available and comes standard on all SR models.
The available sunroof and heated mirrors can make any drive enjoyable, regardless of whether you're driving in Louisiana or other parts of the country with different climates. The front grille on all models is aesthetically pleasing with its modern design, and it houses dynamic shutters that control the intake airflow based on your speed.
Interior
The Sentra’s interior is impressive, not only because of its spacious room but because of how much detail Nissan put into making it comfortable for drivers. All models come standard with bucket seats and a second-row bench seat. Rear seats can be folded down, for times when you need to load cargo in the back.
Heated steering wheels are available in select models, and dual-zone A/C, which allows you and your passenger to choose your temperature preference for each side of the vehicle, comes standard in SV and SR editions.
Technology
Nissan completely understands current technology trends and that’s reflected clearly in the 2021 Sentra. In addition to an AM/FM radio, MP3-playing technology comes standard in every model. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard in S and SV trims and are optional in SR editions. Remote engine start and push-button ignition functionality are also available, for times when you’re in a rush. With the Bose premium sound system and Bluetooth capability, you can listen to all the songs on your mobile device with pulsating bass and crystal-clear clarity. The option to turn the vehicle into a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot is also available.
Performance
Thanks to its compact size and lighter curb weight than other sedans, the Sentra has plenty of get-up-and-go power with its I-4 2.0 liter/122 engine under the hood, pushing out around 149 hp.
The transmission is an automatic CVT w/OD. This allows for smoother gear changes over traditional fixed-gear transmissions because it’s constantly adjusting to your style of driving. As for fuel efficiency, this vehicle can definitely save you money, as it offers up to 39 MPG in highway gas mileage.
Safety
As for safety, the new Sentra certainly has you covered. Passenger and driver airbags come standard with front and rear head areas covered, as well as front and rear side areas. There’s also Safety Shield 360, a type of braking and detection system, that comes standard in all models. This includes brake assist technology that can automatically apply the brakes when a pedestrian or object comes anywhere near your vehicle while it’s in motion. It can also warn you if you’re approaching another vehicle too quickly or if you’re starting to drift off into another lane unintentionally.
